Annual Holiday Partnership with
Dr. J. Edgar Davey Elementary School
Each holiday season, the dancers at DB embrace the spirit of giving back through our annual Holiday Charity, organized by our graduating seniors. Over the past several years, we have fostered a unique and meaningful partnership with Dr. J. Edgar Davey Elementary School. Dr. Davey is a low-income school located in the Beasley Community in Hamilton with very few classroom supplies for everyday activities such as DPA, reading, games and more. Each year, our Elite Competitive team generously donates supplies and snacks to the classrooms. Our senior dancers have the privilege of visiting the school and sharing their love of dance with the students on “Dance Day”. They teach dance combos to students in grades 1-8 and lead exercises with the Kindergarten classes, focusing on exercising our bodies and minds. This has become a welcome tradition for both our dancers and the students at Dr. Davey. We are blessed to continue this wonderful relationship with the school.
